- Simultaneous transmission of IP HD video and analog
SD video*2
- Maximum cable length of 1,000 feet (300 m) with
an RG-59 coaxial cable*3
- The Exmor CMOS sensor delivers high quality images
with low noise
- 28x optical and total zoom ratio of 336x with 12x
digital zoom
- Pan/Tilt Angle the SNC-ZP550 affords a 340º field
of rotation and an above horizon tilt of 15º
- DynaView Wide-D technology to capture high-contrast
scenes and produce clear images even under challenging lighting conditions
- DEPA Intelligent Video analytics enables
cameras to send not only video images, but related metadata, including object
data (size and position) to the DEPA-enabled recorder. Since part of the image
processing is done on the camera side, the load to the recorder can be reduced
enabling camera expansion
- Smartphone viewer for accessing the camera from
a smartphone
- ONVIF (Open Network Video Interface Forum) Version
1.02 software that ensures greater interoperability and more flexibility in
building multiple-vendor systems
The SNC-ZP550 Network Pan-Tilt-Zoom camera features
IPELA Hybrid Sony's IP over-coax technology allowing customers to migrate
easily to HD IP video surveillance systems, utilising existing analogue
infrastructure, such as cables, power supplies, switchers, controllers and
monitors, thus minimising investment in new infrastructure. IPELA Hybrid offers
a cost effective and environmentally friendly installation.
The SNC-ZP550 offers Dual Streaming, which can feature any combination of three
industry-standard compression formats JPEG, MPEG-4 and H.264 meaning that
the camera uses the best compression format for every kind of data. The
cameraalso offers an auto-focus zoom lens, 340 degrees rotation, 1280x720
maximum HD resolution, as well as the 1/4 type "Exmor" CMOS sensor
for high image quality and low noise Dual streaming with
any combination of industry-standard codecs The SNC-ZP550 supports dual streaming with any combination
of three industry-standard compression formats JPEG, the best choice for
high-quality still images, MPEG-4, the format that provides clear moving images
efficiently over limited-bandwidth networks, and H.264, the alternative for
severely limited-bandwidth networks, providing twice the efficiency of MPEG-4.
This means that the camera can use the best compression format for every kind
of data. Exmor® CMOS® Sensor
yields improved image acquisition Derived from Sony's broadcast product range, the "Exmor"
CMOS sensor is one of the highest quality available, meaning high resolution
images with low noise characteristics for improved image acquisition. Powerful 28x optical
zoom capability for enhanced tracking The SNC-ZP550's 28x optical zoom delivers greater
flexibility in finding and tracking targets. Day/Night function
for optimised images in all light conditions The Day/Night function switches the camera between Day
(colour) and Night (B/W) modes, so that in Night mode the camera becomes
sensitive to near-IR light and can reproduce images not visible to the naked
eye.
